“Badger” is a striking, big gelding that turns heads wherever he goes. He has been in our program since a two-year-old and has done everything we could throw at him, from showing in stock horse events and ranch riding, to ranch roping, branding calves, trail riding, ponying race horses at the training track, gathering, and even showing dressage. Badger is our go-to man when we have a job to get done and is my favorite horse to ranch rope off of. Badger has been ridden by a wide variety of people, from 7-year-olds to 70-year-olds. His smooth gates make him a joy to ride through big country and to be in the saddle for long days. Badger is easy to ride and handles beautifully in the bridle. He stops, turns around, has smooth transitions and easy lead changes while having the read on a cow to get any job done.
