Rarely do the terms ‘Draft Cross’ and ‘Refined’ apply to the same horse, Lil’ Bit is just that. She’s as cute and sweet as they come yet she has a lot of room to grow with her cold-blooded background from her draft side. Lil’ Bit is a 2020 bay roan quarter draft mare, standing 15.2 hands and oh man is she put together! Lil’ Bit was started right and has logged a lot of miles in big country from spring gathers to fall works; this girl has been my go-to. Lil’ Bit has been roped off of outside, in the arena, entered in team brandings, and has started to turn steers coming out of the box. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that she is only 3 years old as she is always ready to be on your team and gear up for the day. She’s hobble broke, stands tied to and in the trailer as long as you want—some call that bar broke! She’s been hauled to town with me to lots of breakaway roping’s, team brandings, and ranch rodeos.
