"TONTO"

This gelding has the pedigree, mind AND color to get you noticed in or out of the arena. He's just the cutest lil paint cow pony around! We bought Tonto as a halter broke yearling and have done all the riding on him. He was great to start. never wanted to buck with the saddle and By the 3rd ride we were cruising him around outside and have kept building from there. Gathering pastures, working cattle, dragging calves, and tracking/roping cattle in the arena are some of the things we've been doing with Tonto. He really shines when doing a job, he truely enjoys these tasks. We love how he takes everything in stride and tries to help you. We've hauled him to different arenas and ranchs, showing him "the ropes". Exposing him to many different scenarios to prepare him for whatever his future may hold. Walk, trot, lope, stop, back up, left, right and up-down transitions are all foundational skills that our program is based around. These basic skills will be an asset to any program moving forward and that is very important to us! Tonto is a sweet boy and wants to please. Great ground manners, easy to catch, easy to bridle, Good to shoe. He stands like a gentleman to be saddled and bathed. Put his blanket on over his head or throw it over his back. He gets along turned out with other horses (middle of pecking order) or penned up. UTD worming, teeth, shoes Tonto is currently located in Rising Star, Tx. until 1-12-23.
