We are so excited to offer a horse at this caliber. It would honestly take less time to list all of the things that Moose has not done in his career than what he has done. To start, not only does Moose have the size to do it all standing in at 15.2 hh, he has impeccable bone and foot followed by royal breeding by being a son of ONCE IN A BLU BOON (LTE $318,000+) and is out of a Freckles Playboy mare. Moose has been used for all aspects of ranch work including branding, sorting, doctoring and so much more, he's no stranger to a long day of work. He crosses all sorts of country such as high timber, water, bogs, etc. Use him as your number one ranch horse or even just the perfect trail riding companion. Leave him off for an extended period of time, then bring him back in like he never missed a beat. He is gentle enough to wonder out in the pasture and catch him with only a hay string and ride him bareback to bring the whole herd in to the corrals. Moose has all of the fancy buttons to get the job done; he turns around, stops hard, cuts a cow and lopes around really nice. Many of those jobs he has done includes picking up bulls at the local bull ridings and amateur rodeos, helping start colts, as well as being a solid competition horse. Moose is about as solid of a head horse as it gets; he is absolutely perfect in the box, runs right to his spot, pulls strong and faces clean without ever getting hot or excited. He has competed at the ARHFA world show in the non pro heading, also in numerous ranch rodeos, pasture ropings, as well as the El Guapo one man doctoring competitions. Don't let his long list of accomplishments fool you though, this gentle giant is incredibly gentle and safe enough for any age or level of experience.
