The whole family loves this kind, sweet, honest and pretty mare.

Originally, from Meston breeding program in Canada– focused on well minded Driftwood/Hancock rope horses.  Several of the Meston horses you will see competing in professional rodeo.

Iris, is a confidence booster! She was the horse I rode after I had an accident and was bucked off badly to gain my confidence back as a rider. Iris, is sweet, well minded and has a forgiving soul and tries so hard for you nature.

Jenner Meston started Iris as a colt and Dad, my brother and I have finished her. Originally, she was going to be my next roman riding and trick riding horse because she is so beautiful feminine and honest. She has color, good feet and a beautiful tail.  After a lot of thought I decided someone else might need Iris to get them to where they want to be as a cowgirl.... Iris is a great representation of who I am as a cowgirl and the horses as I grow up will continue to produce.

Safe, kind and well minded. This is why I am offering Iris in this prestigious sale.

We have used her all over the ranch and are very safe for any level of rider. The entire family uses Iris from the small kids, Mom, Dad and Cash! She is always calm, confident and honest. Iris, will ride through mud, rivers, bush, bareback and down the trail on a loose rein. Nothing phases her and she is confident to ride alone. Iris, provides confidence to her rider and is one of the most well minded mares we have ever had on our ranch. Iris is solid on the heel side of team roping, she is easy and fun to rope on and leaves flat and runs hard but can rate to any level of rider, and gives you the same shot every time. She will suit a variety of levels of ropers from beginner to advanced, go and enjoy without any silly business! No matter what the job of the day Iris will be ready to chase cows, horses, go English jumping, fire/pyro broke, brand calves, rope steers, treat calves, and drive as a team or trail ride. Iris has also started on the pole bending pattern and a natural jumping horse with solid jumps to heights of a meter with ease.
