Houlihan was raised by Whitney Hall. He was in 2 year old cutting training with her dad, Shannon Hall. When he turned 3, he started his rope and ranch horse career. He has been used outside and has crossed creeks, trotted through ponds, went through thick brush, and has always taken to any terrain very easily. He has been used to sort pairs, strip cows off of cows, doctor yearlings, drag calves, pen cows, anything and everything ranch related. He is a kind horse with a soft eye.
