Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse Sale Incentive

Introducing the Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse Sale Incentive to be held in conjunction with the Art of the Cowgirl Competitions

 

For 2022 this will be an optional $800 incentive fee. 

 

If consignors choose to pay the incentive fee on every horse (based on 25 consignments) the total will be: $20,000

 

The incentive will be 100% payback with a portion going towards the World’s Greatest Horsewoman, a portion going towards the All Women’s Ranch Rodeo and a portion will be paid out to a special event held for sale horses.  The only horses eligible for this payout are horses sold at Art of the Cowgirl Sales.  Finals payouts for each event will be posted prior to the event.

 

World’s Greatest Horsewoman:

Any horses that have sold through the Art of the Cowgirl Sale and are paid up into the incentive are eligible for the Art of the Cowgirl Sale Incentive.  Up to the top 3 placing horses competing at World’s Greatest Horsewoman (these horses will only be competing with other horses in the sale incentive) will be paid out the allotted money designated to the World’s Greatest Horsewoman through the sale.  

 

All Women’s Ranch Rodeo:

Any horses that have sold through the Art of the Cowgirl Sale and are paid up into the incentive are eligible for the Art of the Cowgirl Sale Incentive.  Horses eligible for this incentive must be used in at least TWO events on the same team during the competition.  Payout will be based off of team placings and up to 3 eligible horses will be paid based on where they place on the teams.  IF A HORSE IS ON MULTIPLE TEAMS, THE HIGHEST PLACING TEAM WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE INCENTIVE PLACING.

 

Art of the Cowgirl Sale Graduate Class:

This will be a class offered only for horses that have been sold through the sale.  Events TBD, but the class will be held during Art of the Cowgirl competitions and will offer multiple levels (open, non pro, etc).  This will be structured as a ranch horse type class.  Class information will be available soon!

 

Additional incentive information:

 

  • All sale horses are eligible for incentive.  If consignor does not pay horse into the incentive new owners have the option to do so

  • No sales are still eligible for incentive as long as incentive fee has been paid 

  • Consignors must nominate for the incentive at time of consignment so that it can be noted in the catalog

  • As with all of our events, we will work towards adding additional money towards the incentive

  • INCENTIVE GOES INTO EFFECT FOR THE 2023 EVENTS

 

It is our hope to grow this incentive program so that it adds even more value to the horses being sold through this sale.  We strive to create a sale and competition events that showcase the versatility of the ranch and performance horse, and feel this is a way to add value to the horses and give those buying these great horses the opportunity for a return on their investment all while supporting the heart of Art of the Cowgirl, the fellowship program, which is only done through event participation.
