“Arta” is a prospect with tons of potential. She will have about 5 months of riding by sale time. This mare is as wide as she is tall. We have owned her mother for over 10 years- this is the first colt we’ve ever raised out of her. She is athletic, eye-catching, and fun-sized. This mare has a lot of grit and can go all day. I believe Arta would excel as a breakaway or heel horse. She is very cowy and wants to have a big stop. With some time and more riding I believe a handy junior high kid would have an absolute blast on her, but she is talented enough for a higher level rider. We’ve used her all fall to gather, sort, and process. She has started tracking the heelomatic and we have started her on slow cattle. She shows a lot of promise. She is truly an outstanding prospect.
