The Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse Sale is a unique event that will offer a select group of horses that are the product of some of the handiest women in the ranching industry. We select and invite a small group of horses that showcase an equally talented group of horsewomen, and provide the highest quality prospective mounts for potential buyers. It is our goal to exhibit the kind of horses that have seen a real days work and have been exposed to a variety of situations. It is also our goal to create relationships that go beyond the sale ring. By showcasing the horses and programs created by these handy women alongside their families we hope to be a part of establishing customers that turn into friends through our sale. Our equal goal is to create a sale environment that is as close to buying privately as possible. We strive for transparency and trust, and expect the same from our consignors.

Starting in 2023 this sale will be open to only invited consignors. Over the years we have developed a very quality group of repeat consignors. We are also able to meet and create relationships with potential consignors through our competitions and other events surrounding Art of the Cowgirl. We have been working towards this being an invitational sale and we are proud to be in a position to streamline this sale and offer the highest quality horses available.

ART OF THE COWGIRL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Our Mission

Our purpose is Two Fold as Art of the Cowgirl not only Celebrates Accomplished Artisans and Horsewomen, but Provides Funding for Emerging Artists in the development of their Crafts and Businesses.

Art of the Cowgirl is a gathering to celebrate cowgirls and their contributions to the western lifestyle and culture through workshops, horsemanship clinics, competitions and horse sale. It will be the avenue through which funds will be generated to support emerging artists and expand their knowledge and skills through fellowships and mentoring by Master Artists in their respective fields.

The Art of the Cowgirl Fellowship Program will encourage, promote and invest in the development of emerging artists and makers engaged in the unique arts, trades, and horsemanship of the western lifestyle while celebrating tradition and inspiring innovation through mentorship from established leaders in their fields. Through this program, Art of the Cowgirl will foster creativity and will work to preserve traditional art techniques and functional gear.

Funds from the Elite Horse Sale go towards our Fellowship Program. When you buy or sell horses through Art of the Cowgirl, you are directly supporting the future of our industry.

Our Select Prospect Sale is made up of three & four year old horses. The demand for elite prospects in the horse industry is at an all time high and we knew exactly where to find young horses with superb foundations! You would be hard pressed to find a group of better three and four year old horses anywhere. Featuring money earners and young horses with a magnitude of real world experience, these offerings are ready to go a wide variety of performance, ranch or recreational directions.
